Creative Arts & Play Therapy

Where Expression Becomes Medicine...

Some stories live too deep for words.

Some emotions are too big for language.

This is where art, movement, sound, and play become the sacred bridge between the inner world and the outer one.

At Interbeing, we offer Creative Arts Therapy and Play Therapy as gentle, powerful pathways to healing for both children and adults. These modalities invite what is unspoken to be seen, felt, and released through the language of the soul.

For children, play is their first language. In a safe, therapeutic environment, they’re able to express fears, navigate emotions, and process trauma in a way that feels natural and empowering.

For teens and adults, creative expression - whether through paint, music, movement, or sound - can unlock buried grief, restore self-awareness, and reconnect us to the parts of ourselves we’ve silenced.

Often, sessions weave in breathwork and sound healing to help regulate the nervous system, support emotional release, and deepen the journey.

These modalities support:

  • Emotional regulation

  • Trauma healing (including complex and developmental trauma)

  • Confidence and self-expression

  • Anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions

  • Inner child connection and integration

  • Reclaiming creative energy and joy

No artistic experience is needed - only a willingness to explore.

This is not about performance. It’s about permission.
Permission to feel. To express. To be messy. To be whole.
